Lightwater Surgery Patient Participation Group
The Role of the Modern Pharmacist
Tue 17th June 1.00pm at All Saints’ Church Hall
Speaker: Indi Johal from Lightwater Pharmacy
This is an excellent opportunity, hosted by Lightwater Surgery and the Patient Participation Group, for local residents to learn how to get the best out of our local Pharmacy. Everyone understands that pharmacists dispense our vital medicines but not everyone appreciates how much more they can offer.
The role of Pharmacists has changed greatly in recent years and qualified staff now allow pharmacists time to provide such things as medicine use reviews and, in the future, health checks. Each Pharmacist works closely with their local surgery.
Indi Johal will be telling us about all the services provided by pharmacies and explaining how they are becoming increasingly important in the provision of local health care.
Come along at 1pm on June 17th to discover just how much we can all benefit.
